This industry includes various kinds of companies like Airlines, Travel agents hotels etc. Moreover, the following assessment will focus on sustainable tourism practices. Nevertheless with the help of data and information reason for adopting sustainable practices in the tourism industry will be explained. After that, the following reasons will be categorized as economic, social-culture and environmental impacts. While also providing examples of some destinations or businesses that have successfully adopted sustainable tourism practices.
Moreover, to evaluate the positive impacts of sustainable tourism practices some major factors will be highlighted. Like the impacts of sustainable practices on tourism destination three dimensions of sustainability economic, socio-cultural and environmental will be explained. Nevertheless, five key sustainable tourism practices will be defined for further studies. Further, the environmental, economic, and socio-cultural benefits associated with each practice will be described. At the same time, Statistical data and the examples from destination also will highlight the cost and benefits of sustainable tourism practices.

At the same time, some major role and importance in promoting sustainable practices will be highlighted. Nevertheless, it will also be estimated that is it costly to implement sustainable tourism practices in an organization. Moreover, it will highlight the potential challenges or barriers to implementing sustainable business practices.

The tourism industry has lot of negative impacts on the environment like the Airlines produce lot of pollution, traveller also sometime damage the properties as well. So the industry needs to make changes and effort to reducethe negative impacts.Nevertheless, many Airlines are responsible for the carbon footprint which is resulting in the global warming (Streimikiene, et. al, 2021). Further according to the World Tourism organization the tourism industry is responsible for 5% of Global carbon dioxide amino.
Moreover so many companies should approach sustainable practices to attract more customers and gain market position. Moreover, according to a survey by Booking.com, more than 50% of travellers are ready to pay more for sustainability and environmental safety. Especially after the pandemic people are becoming more concerned about social factors like health, nature and wildlife.Moreover it is very known fact that company related to tourism have negative impacts on all of them. For example the because of mass tourism the nature and wildlife can be in danger because of irresponsibility and care.
Economic, socio-cultural, and environmental impacts
Now the reason can be categorized into factors like economic, social-culture and environmental. Moreover there are some negative impacts on those categories like the Economic impact of sustainable practices on businesses it will increase the overall cost of the company operation. Moreover as per the socio-culture most of the time because of the lack of knowledge about other culture and religion the tourist can hurt people sentiments. At the same time the influent and brand image of big corporation can also have negative impact on the local business.

Some of them are like many airlinesand travel agencies are responsible for global warming and producing greenhouse gases. As sustainability is very much in trend for a long period many business and destinations are working toward practicing it for positive changes. Some of the businesses and destinations are like in European countries Switzerland is the best example. The government and people of Switzerland have taken the initiative to protect and preserve the fauna and flora. Moreover the country has lot of tourist every year that harm the vegetation and environment. Some initiatives are like the government has made more than 1200 km of bicycle path to reduce the use of petrol vehicles.
Moreover, the government and companies in the travel industry also using many technologies to reduce carbon emissions. Further, one more examples are Mongolia which is located in central Asia (The 9 destinations where to practice sustainable tourism in 2021! (+ some bonuses), 2022). Moreover the country has been affected by the wastages by the tourist from a long time. Mongolia is known for its mountains, wildlife and nature as well. Moreover, the government of Mongolia is investing a lot in preserving the iconic destination of the country and its heritage.

With that some essential stakeholder that impacts the company the most are employees, customer investor or shareholders (VU, LAM and PRABHAKARAN, 2021). Moreover, the employee of the company is behind the strategies and implementation of sustainable practise. Nevertheless, the customer or in this case, tourist preference and trend influence the company to take the initiative to change and develop sustainability. Moreover according to Nielsen survey of 2012 46% of traveller is ready to pay higher cost for sustainability. At last investors and shareholders are the financial sources of the organization. Moreover the investor and major shareholder also take part in decision making as well.

Sustainable tourism will occur some extra or high cost for the company because replacing and developing the environmental friendly option not costly. Some of the major cost will be required in the company have to invents in technology and accommodation that are environment friendly (Xu, Nash and Whitmarsh, 2020). The companies have adopted sustainability from 2011 to 2022 at least the growth with 11% to 19%. Some of them are like having a proper licence and certificate which will also add the cost further. Nevertheless to adopt the sustainability in an organization the staff will need training programme and sessions. Further the company also have to invest in technological and digital advancement.
Highlight the potential challenges or barriers to implementing these practices
The sustainable practises have some potential challenges or barriers while implementing. Some of the major challenges and barriers are like sustainable practises like using environmental friendly accommodation can be costly. Moreover with the lack of supplier and option available in the market there can be shortage of resources as well. Nevertheless because of many restriction and regulation while wildlife viewing it can affect the traveller and company can receive negative feedbacks as well (Waltz, et. al, 2019). At the same time the company will need time and capital to adopt the changes which can affect the productivity of the organization as well. Further the industry also needs some innovation in terms of technology and digitalisations can that replace the normal product with less cost.

With that, some examples of destinations like Mongolia that have successfully adopted sustainable practices and working more toward it have been mentioned.
Moreover continuing that some positive impacts of sustainable tourism on tourist destinations have been highlighted with the help of an evaluation of many points. Some points are like three dimension of sustainability including Economical, socio-culture an environmental. At the same time, it has identified and described some key sustainable tourism practices like responsible for wild viewing, community engagement, sustainable transportation and environment-friendly accommodation. Nevertheless, the environmental, economic and socio-cultural of each practises have been explained as well.
Further, some example of specific destination like Bhutan has been described to showcase the cost and benefits of sustainable practises of tourism. At the same time In order to evaluate the cost of practising sustainable tourism and forecast its future development have been explained as well. Further that also include major role of stakeholder in promoting and implementing the sustainable practises in corporations as well. Nevertheless, it is explained with three major stakeholders of the company employees, Investors and customers. Further identification of sustainability costs and chances of loss in revenue have been mentioned. Lastly, some potential challenges or barriers to implementing these practices have been mentioned as well.
