Roles and responsibilities in health and social care setting
While working within health and social care it is very necessary that the roles and responsibilities of followed effectively. The major roles and responsibilities to be followed by the National Health Services are as follows
- The first and foremost responsibility of the health and social care worker is to provide better services to the patient (Mehta and et.al, 2021). This is the prime responsibility of the workers will the National Health Care Service because the organisation aims to provide Healthcare services to the patient.
- In addition to this another responsibility is to have a better medicine administration. This is particularly because of the reason that when timely medicines will not be provided to the patient then it will impact their health. Thus, it is the responsibility of the people working in the National Health Service that they monitor the medicines and provide them to all the people on time.
- Moreover, another crucial responsibility of the Healthcare workers within the National Health Service is to work on all the concerns and complaints of the patients. Many times there might be a possibility that some patients are not happy with the services and it is the responsibility of the health care workers that cater to their problem and try to solve it as soon as possible.
- Another important responsibility of the Healthcare worker is to ensure that all the working is being done according to the policy and procedures listed by the company. This is particularly necessary because when the services provided to the patient will not be inclined with the policy of the company then it might be possible that proper treatment is not provided to the patient (Shekhar and et.al, 2021). It is the prime responsibility of the health care workers of National Health Services that famous ensure that every work is being factors according to the policies and procedures of the company.
Difference between working relation and personal relation
The working relationship is defined as the formal relations which are maintained within the business and for business only. This includes maintaining relationships with the client, managers, co-workers, outside agencies, suppliers and many other different people. On the other hand, the person relationship is defined as an unpaid social relationship which is maintained at the personal level and no working aspect is related to it (De Kock and et.al, 2021). In addition to this another major difference between both is that working relationships are formal whereas personal relationships are formal. The working relationship or paid in nature whereas personal relationships are unpaid and are created with the mutual consent of both people. Further within, the working relationship there is a very limited choice that with whom the person can work. On the other hand, a relationship includes free choices where the person can decide with whom to communicate and be friends. Moreover, the working relationships are bounded by professionalism and the different policies and duty of care need to be followed effectively.
On the contradictory note, the personal relationships there are no boundaries or any other policy which needs to be followed. In addition to this working relationship is limited by time that is the person can meet only during the shift or the meeting time. On the other hand within the personal relationship, there is no such time boundation and the person can meet anytime anywhere. Along with this within the working relationship, there is an unequal power balance in which employees some people have more power and some have less power. but it the key to personal relationships for usually there is an equal balance of power among all the people are the individual involved in the personal relationship.
Role of regulators and advisor
The regulators and Advisors are the people who monitor and regulate the working of the healthcare sector. The regulators and Advisors play crucial roles in the effective working of Healthcare companies. Thus, in the case of National Health Services the regulated Advisors play a crucial role in the management of the whole Health Care setting. The major roles played by the regulators and Advisors are as follows-
- The first and foremost role played by the Advisors is setting up standards relating to working and the competence and conduct of the health care professionals (Alnazly and et.al, 2021). This is particularly necessary because when the health care professionals in the National Health Service are not working competently then it will impact the services provided by them. It is the responsibility of the regulators and Advisors that they must set effective standards of working so that the overall working of the healthiest sector will be good and effective.
- In addition to this another major role played by the regulators and Advisors within the National Health Service is to investigate the complaints about the people maintained within the register (About regulators, 2023) and all the Complaints are cleared. This is very necessary because if the Complaints are not solved then the patient will not be happy and will not come again to the same health care service.
- In addition to this another major role of Advisors and regulators is to check the quality of the training being provided to the health care professionals. There are many changes taking place within the Healthcare working and in technology as well. Thus, it is the responsibility of the Advisors and regulators that they arrange the training programs and ensure that quality education is provided to the healthcare professional so that they can adapt to all the new changes easily and effectively.
Importance of complying with agreed ways of working
The agreed ways of working include working according to the policies and procedures listed by the company. These policies and procedures list out the way of working which needs to be accurately followed by the person. In the health care sector, it is very necessary that the agreed ways of working or followed by the health care professionals. This is particularly because of the reason that these agreed ways of working guide the Healthcare professionals and they can work effectively and efficiently. There are many situations within which the person has to follow the agreed ways by default. Even if there are any changes they cannot implement them and they have to follow all the procedures listed in the same manner.
In addition, working in agreed ways will help the health care professionals to provide quality care services to the patient. This is particularly because of the reason that the Healthcare professionals follow the process which is listed within the policies of the Healthcare setting. In addition to this another importance of following the agreed ways of working is that it helps in better delivery of the care services (Abdel Wahed and et.al, 2020). This is particularly because of the reason that when the standards and procedures are followed then automatically the outcome will be better services to the patient. Moreover, another importance of working in agreed ways is that it will help in fulfilling all the compliance in Legislative requirement is well. This is particularly because of the reason that all the agreed ways are made by the legislative requirements. When the health care professionals of the National Health Service will complain with the agreed ways then automatically regulatory compliance will be made.

To assist the agreed ways of working the first and form of step which the health care professional can take is to communicate with the employers. This is particularly because of the reason that the employer has all the policies and procedures and the agreed ways of working as well (Labrague, 2021). Thus when Healthcare professionals communicate with the employer they can get all the details relating to the great ways of working. In addition to this healthcare professionals can also go to the official website of the healthcare setting and can find the agreed ways of working over there as well. This is particularly because all the policies and procedures are listed on the official website of the Healthcare setting as well.
Contributing to the quality assurance process
Healthcare professionals must contribute to the quality assurance process within the setting. This is particularly necessary because when the Quality Services will not be provided to the patient then they will not be happy with the services. Thus, different ways of contributing to the Quality Assurance process include the following-
- The first method is to manage all the complaints. Within the registers, many different complaints are being filed by the patient or any other person first the sperm maintaining better quality all the Complaints must be managed as fast as possible so that the problem of the patient can be solved easily.
- In addition to this another way of contributing to the Quality Assurance process is to report the issues to the related person. This is particularly necessary because there are many times several issues faced by Healthcare professionals as well. Thus, it is the prime responsibility to report to the related person so that it can be solved easily.

Question 1: What are the benefits of working in a partnership?
Answer 1
For successful working within the healthcare sector, it is very necessary that working in partnership is implemented. This is particularly necessary because there are different benefits of working in partnership which are as follows-
- The first benefit is that working in partnership helps the people in creating a better community and environment so that the needs of the people can be maintained easily. When the work is done in partnership then people can understand the requirements of the patients better and cater to their requirements efficiently.
- Another benefit is that working in partnership helps in getting more resources and using them effectively (Søvold and et.al, 2021). This is particularly because of the reason that all the companies working together have their resources and when they combine then the resources will be increased.
- Along with this another benefit of working in partnership is better decision making. This is particularly because of the reason that when people work together the decision making of the activity will be much better. Hence, it will help the National Health Service to make better decisions and provide better services to the patient.
Question 2: Describe the example relating to best practice?
Answer 2
For the successful working of Healthcare as National Health Service implements the use of best practices for providing treatment to the patient. The most common example of the best practice is social prescribing. Social prescribing is a practice wherein the appropriate prescription is provided to the patient. The National Health Service effectively complies with this social prescribing and it links with primary care. These practices assist and train the nurses in the way the prescription needs to be provided to the patient coming.
Question 3: What are the ways of working which can improve partnership?
Answer 3
Effective working partnerships must be improved. Thus in the National Health Service the ways of improving partnerships are as follows-
- The first way is to have open communication. This is particularly necessary because when work is done in partnership then communication needs to be clear and open. Thus, it will help in the effective working of the Healthcare sector and treating the patient well.
- Another way of improving partnership working is to acknowledge others' expertise. It is very necessary because when people work together then there needs to be appreciation and acknowledgement of one another expertise and knowledge. This will motivate them to work efficiently and will help improve the partnership.
- In addition to this another way of improving partnership is to provide accessible information to one another (Biswas and et.al, 2021). When the work is done in partnership then appropriate information must be shared among all the partners so that the work can be done in a proper and effective manual.
