Development as a learner

During the module to become an effective learner I have focus on developing various skills and techniques. In accordance with the Gibbs model of evaluation, focus is placed on evaluating own experience regarding growth & development (Gibbs' Reflective Cycle, 2023). I have focused on developing my inner skills by applying the VARK theory (Espinoza-Poves, Miranda-Vílchez and Chafloque-Céspedes, 2019). This theory include improve the visual, aural, Read and the Kinesthetic skills in the individual. I have improved my skills by focusing on reading the word louder so that it can create clarity regarding the pronunciation. I have started preparing the summary once I have completed the reading which will help in improving my skills of remember things. There are various types of information which is available on the online sources; to become an effective learner one should identify the accuracy of the information before implementing the same. I have developed the skills of the researching which will help in identify the current trends in the market and extending my knowledge level as well. I have focused on identifying the credibility and reliability of the information by evaluating the data on the basis of different statistics available. I aimed at sharing my knowledge with other to get their feedback and ensure the accuracy of the data. I have also focused on developing the skills of the academic writer as this include continuous research on various academic topic and the deep understanding of the topic to write the assignment.

For improving this I have aimed at writing a paragraph on the regular basis on various topics after analyzing all the factors. Once I have completed with writing I used to proofread the matter to identify faults and improve them. This will help in enhancing my skills for analyzing and evaluating the information. Adequate communication with the professional and knowledgeable individual will help in gathering better understanding of different aspect. I have focused on improving my listening skills by paying attention to one's point of view and then evaluate the same before coming to the conclusion. I have become attentive on the various non verbal sign of the speaker for creating better link with topic. I have identified that providing appropriate feedback are important in the communication process as this will help in ensuring the correctness of the information been gathered.

By developing the reading technique I would become able to summarizing the chapter which will help in effective formation of the notes. Through reading I will able to establish the link between the existing and the available knowledge and get better insight of the topic. This technique will enhance my focus and concentration level resulting into decreasing stress and good academic progress. The knowledge of vocabulary will be improved by focused reading and support my communication skills.

After developing the skills of the researching, evaluating and incorporating I will be able to gain new knowledge as well as evaluate the accuracy of the information. Through researching I will be able to gather new information and skills which will help in overall development. Researching will help in assessing various measures which are important in solving the problem. Hence, this will help in improving my problem solving skill to the significant level. Reliability and the credibility of the sources are very important to gain accurate information. Evaluation technique will help in checking the efficiency and effectiveness of the sources before collecting the information which will help in ensuring the factuality.
