Introduction of Learning Strategies For Success In Business
The learning stages of the UK education system are divided into five stages and they are “early years, primary, secondary, further education (FE) and Higher Education (HE)”. Out of that, FE is not mandatory and it covers non-advanced education in the UK. The final stage that is HE is education beyond the GCE Advanced level and takes place in HEIs (Higher education Institutes). As a student of business education, I have completed the early years, primary and secondary education in the UK itself and then completed my Further Education (FE) in the department of Business of FE college where I mostly experienced work-based learning and managed to grow some business skills. My goal was to set Personal and professional skill development while attending the Business education at FE college as practical activities, learning processes and experiences that focus on increasing personal efficiency and employability for representing and developing a crucial role in the professional field in future. During the lectures and coursework, my attendance was moderate but I was an "idealist" learner that represents enthusiasm in the learning process and was concerned about the patterns of the process of knowledge gaining. My attendance was a little affected by the part-time job that I was involved in to earn my living.

Learning style analysis
There are many theories regarding the different styles of effective learning as effective learning not only helps students but also helps the teacher or educators to become more efficient and facilitate a proper teaching environment. A learning style is a psychological, affective and cognitive process that is a “relatively consistent indicator” of the process of perception, interpretation and creation of learning lessons by students and teachers as well (Osmani and Musai, 2021). “Honey & Mumford's Learning Styles theory” consists of a Learning Style Questionnaire (LSQ) and establishes the styles of learning from various strategies that are generally used by the learners in order to grasp and convert information. The questionnaire of Honey and Mumford is designed to analyse the preferred learning styles of different learners. The different learning styles are “Activist, Reflector, Theorist and Pragmatic”.
Activist learners educate themselves better in concrete action situations that is consists of learning by experience, mistakes and corrections of those mistakes. The favoured learning styles for Activist learners are, activities, such as group discussion, brainstorming puzzles, problem-solving etc. Reflectors are those types of learners that prefer both thinking and observation as a part of their learning style. It is their preferable situation of learning, to consider all implications and possibilities before taking any decision. The preferable learning activities for Reflectors must involve time for investigations, thinking, observation and reviewing without any deadlines (Osmani and Musai, 2021). Completely different from these two types of learners, Theorist learners are comfortable with theories, explanatory models, synthesis and analysis of statistical data etc. They tend to understand the logic rather than grasp them. Case studies, reading, and discussion are some effective activities of learning for Theorists. Learners who are Pragmatists prefer the application of analytical knowledge for solving problems and creating new things.

Experimental learning theory by Kolb, 1984 and its learning style model originally is the foundation block for “Honey & Mumford's Learning Styles theory” developed in 1992. The experimental learning cycle by Kolb is consisting of four steps of two bipolar dimensions (Bontchev and Vassileva, 2012). They are Perception and information processing that is reflection and thinking or feelings of another way of explaining experience and transforming knowledge into experience. The steps of the learning cycle are, Concrete experience, Reflective experience, Abstract conceptualization and Active experimentation. These four steps correspond to the four steps of “Honey & Mumford's Learning Styles theory” (Osmani and Musai, 2021). The four steps of “Honey & Mumford's Learning Styles” are the formation of four styles from the two bipolar dimensions of “Kolb's experimental learning theory”. Figure 1 is the complete comparative visualisation of these two learning styles and illustrates the different components of these two adaptive styles of learning.

Students’ attendance
The attendance of students is a helpful tool for measuring students' involvement in classroom teaching through the analysation of membership of the entire lecture schedule. According to Dolnicar, 2004, any knowledge seekers must emphasise attaining lectures in order to gain knowledge and develop concepts during the process of learning a particular topic or subject. He gives the ideas of four different types of learners depending on students' characteristics of attaining lectures. “Reluctant attendees” attended lectures due to the demand of society of gaining a degree and structuring a network and are too much socialised. “Inspiration seeker” concentrates on following courses due to inspiration from the representation of subjects and lectures as well as a passionate affinity for increasing the quality of learning. As described by Dolnicar (2004), “Fundamentals-oriented students” is delivering a sensible justification for following lectures. “Idealist” is conveying a willingness to comprehend the patterns of the process of knowledge gaining. Average pupils attend class due to inspiration that can be described as “inspired seeker”. “Everything but pleasure” is involved in enjoying lectures with a willingness to learn and achieving explanatory information concerning the respective subject of the lesson.
Self-analysis
According to Honey & Mumford’s Learning Styles questionnaire, the preferred learning style for me is Theorist and as a theorist, I should be comfortable with theories, explanatory models, synthesis and analysis of statistical data etc. I prefer to understand the logic rather than grasp them. Case studies, reading, and discussion are some effective activities of learning for me to gain adaptive learning. Concerning the type of attendee, I feel that I am an Idealist attendee and I tend to show willingness for comprehending the patterns of the process of knowledge gaining.
Conclusion
In this assignment report, there is primary knowledge gained about the different types of learning styles e.g., “Honey & Mumford’s Learning Styles” and “Learning Styles theory by Kolb” and self-analysis about the preferred style of learning and type of attendee according to Dolnicar, 2004. Honey and Mumford did the self-analysis through the questionnaire. According to the result, my preferred learning style for me is the Theorist style of learning and also I am an idealist attendee in my course lectures.
