Many times, even if they try to share their situations with their families, especially with their parents, they are stopped to be vocal due to most of the time the abusers belonging to the family or the familiar ones (Yoshida, & Setzer, 2020). Child abuse is not only the failure of the social system but it is also the failure of the acts and laws of any country.

Safeguarding a child from abuse is not only required but also very vital in context to protect the children's actions. Safeguarding includes the protection of children from the risks or dangers of real abuse. Safeguarding helps to reduce the intensity of harmful situations and the vulnerability of it. Children affected by the abuse can be seriously damaged in many aspects including having a hampered social life so ensuring their social reformation is very important. They can be damaged emotionally and psychologically, so reviving them from the distress is equally important. Protecting children from maltreatment is very vital for the health and development of the children (Vanhala, 2020). This can be ensured by the provision of effective child care, which contributes greatly to the development of the children.

Taking action and enabling the best outcomes is highly recommended as within families and communities, the lives of affected children by child abuse can be threatened seriously due to the immensity caused damage by the exploitation of children safeguarding and failure of standards. Safeguarding falls under some areas including citizen protection, the health of children, protection of human rights and their well-being, enabling and ensuring the harm-free living of children, and not neglecting the signs and symptoms of abuse, especially after hearing it all from the affected children.

High-profile cases of child abuse and the role of media in this case

First case Of child abuse

In this child abuse case, "Mathew Evans aged 32" and "John Griffiths, aged 66" HD has been found guilty of this offence of child sexual abuse. It has also been found that James Evan was found guilty of not only abusing those seven children but also he was associated with the case of child abuse from 20 years ago. As opined by Royal, K. (2019), they were given "sexual harm prevention" for the work.

The role of media was very significant in this case as by using the media as a reporting they help to increase the public knowledge, for these help other people to protect their children. The case of the child abuser got viral with the help of the media, as their work helped to get aware people to know about the people who were behind this and they help people to increase their health life. In this case of Child abuse, the media helped to bring the case of James Evans in front of the public (Waller et al. 2020). For this people can be aware of their rights and also help to prevent their children from them. The chief of the crown prosecutor has also declared that the case was offensive as this was the most appealing case of child abuse and this was the most inhumane experiences of them what they have done. Police confirmed their steps in order to prevent this.

The abuse of a child is the most ridiculous thing to be seen in the world. How the person's mentality can be to do such things. Elsa, who is 12 year girl, suffered sexual abuse from one of her family members in April, 20 years ago. Every child is special to their parents and all over the world. In the world women and children are highly in danger in this segment. To rescue the child the government should take action against the people who are having this kind of cheap thought. The government should take strict actions and pass strict laws to rescue women and children. The government also has to train the children that they should not go with any strangers as it is very dangerous for them so they should learn that they should not go for any such things (Ngan et al. 2019). They have to educate their parents too not to entertain any stranger towards their children.

The awareness of that child abuse has to increase all over the world because the incident can destroy the family and affects the mental health also of the whole family and they need more of the time to heal the wounds. The effects of sexual abuse can bring health issues after a long time too. For the neighborhood, they also have to be trained about how to behave with such families who have these issues. They have to be supportive of them and help them to overcome this situation. The government also has to identify the victims as fast so that the treatment should start as fast as they can (Sima et al. 2020). Only these particular things can survive a family from their difficulties.

Society has to teach them to be brave in this situation and they have to teach the child that nothing is happening so that they can survive faster. Relatives and friends also have to help the families to survive in all possible ways so that they can get the confidence to overcome the situation. In that situation, mental health matters the most. Physical health can be cured within a period but mental health cannot be cured easily (Belussi et al. 2019). About these criteria, the schools have to make sessions so that the children should be aware of that. The parents and the teacher and everyone should help the victims to survive with all positivity. The government should take strict action so that they would not think about this kind of crime.

They have to get difficult punishments for this. The parents and the other closed ones have to create such things which can help them to be happy. Because in that situation make them happy would help them survive in those situations because only that can divert their minds. The parents and the other close ones have to plan what makes them happy so that they can get cured easily (O'Dwyer & Unerman, 2020). The doctors would also have to help the child and their families with positive comments so that they can have positivity in their minds to overcome the situation. Only the difficult laws can make out the victims with the proper justice.

Conclusion

To conclude the study it can be stated that, the study was about two high-profile cases of child abuse. In this study, some of the legislation, policy, and law have been analyzed. Some of the new laws and policies have also been analyzed in order to control these cases of child abuse. A very relevant case study has been discussed about child abuse and the relevant examples have also been shown in this study. Along with that, the role of media has been discussed to specify the cases of child abuse. These child tragedies needed to be identified so that the cases of child abuse got under control.
